FAQ's
Where do you walk the dogs?
We have established dog walks around Bramley Falls, Calverley Woods, Post Hill, Otley Chevin and Temple Newsam where dogs can be walked off lead in relative safety
For on lead walks a variety of local parks are utilised. If your dog has a particular favourite place to walk please let us know and we will try to accommodate it. We are always interested in new and exciting places to visit.
Can I come with you on a walk?
Customers are welcome to walk with us, but should respect that there may be other dogs in our care at the time.
Does my dog have to be spayed / neutered?
No. However, any dog which has not been spayed / neutered may have to be walked on lead and potentially on an individual basis.
What security measures do you have?
All personal information will be respected as being confidential and stored securely. Your Dog Walker will never pass on your personal details to any third party without your prior knowledge and consent.
Where Your Dog Walker is entrusted with your house keys these will also be stored securely, and there will be no identifying marks to link the keys to your address.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your Dog Walker understands that sometimes events can happen which mean you have to change your plans at the last minute. We do not want to penalise our customers, but a small charge as detailed in your agreement will be made in the event of cancellation where less than 48 hours notice is given.
What happens in the event of an emergency?
In the unlikely event of needing to contact you we will use the telephone contact details supplied on your agreement.
If we are unable to contact you, and your pet requires urgent veterinary treatment we will take your pet to the vet which you have specified. Your Dog Walker will not be liable for any costs incurred.
What happens if you are ill / on holiday?
Your Dog Walker is a family business and therefore there will be times when we will be unable to walk your dog. We aim to give all of our customers a minimum of 28 days notice, but sometimes events outside of our control e.g. illness may prevent us from doing so. In circumstances such as these we will endeavour to put you in contact with an alternative dog walker.
Where can I find a copy of your terms and conditions?
